The Business Federation for the Spanish Meat Industry (FECIC), with offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Brussels, was created in 1978, and is the Organization that represents and defends the interests of the meat industry in Spain.

FECIC is the result of the union of different business associations, which are dedicated both to the slaughter of animals (bovine, porcine, goat and equine) and to the cutting and transformation into processed meat products.

Among the functions of FECIC, it is worth mentioning the defense and representation of this business activity and its affiliated companies in front of different administrations, while among its activities it stands out the information and the services offered to the meat companies.
